Because He Lives

Live as though
Christ died yesterday,
Rose from the grave today,
And is coming back tomorrow.

And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

A bird can find its way through space - Because Jesus  Lives!
The sun can shine upon your face - Because Jesus Lives!
You can feel the ocean's spray - Because Jesus Lives!

God will hear You when you Pray - Because Jesus Lives!
You can pick golden rod - Because Jesus Lives!
You can go to live with God - Because Jesus Lives!

I am the resurrection, and the life:

he that believeth in me,

though he were dead,

yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

We talk of Christ, We rejoice in Christ, We preach of Christ

We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ

John 21 : 25
And there are

also many other things

which Jesus did, the which,

if they should be written

every one,

I suppose that even the world itself

could not contain the books

that should be written. Amen.

Giving up was never an option

I think I can, I think I can
I knew I could

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.
Henry Ford
Don't find fault, find a remedy.
Henry Ford
Even a mistake may turn out to be the one thing necessary to a worthwhile achievement.
Henry Ford

Before everything else, getting ready is the secret of success.
Henry Ford

Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.
Henry Ford

Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.
Henry Ford
My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.
Henry Ford
No pain that is suffered by man or woman upon the earth will be without its compensating effect . . . if it be met with patience.
James E. Talmage
Gratitude is twin sister to humility; Pride is foe to both.
James E. Talmage
"Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens."
J.R.R. Tolkien
"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums.
The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."
Ezra Taft Benson

I believe in Christ; he is my King!
With all my heart to him I’ll sing; I’ll raise my voice in praise and joy, In grand Amens my tongue employ.
I believe in Christ; he is God’s Son!
On earth to dwell his soul did come. He healed the sick; the dead he raised. Good works were his, his name be praised.
I believe in Christ; oh blessed name!
As Mary’s Son he came to reign. ‘Mid mortal men, his earthly kin, To save them from the woes of sin.
I believe in Christ; who marked the path!
Who did gain all the Father hath. Who said to men, Come, Follow Me, That ye, my friends, with God may be.”
I believe in Christ – my Lord, my God!
My feet he plants on gospel sod. I’ll worship him with all my might; He is the source of truth and light.
I believe in Christ; he ransoms me!
From Satan’s grasp he sets me free. And I shall live with joy and love In his eternal courts above.
I believe in Christ; he stands supreme!
From him I’ll gain my fondest dream. And while I strive through grief and pain, His voice is heard;
“Ye shall obtain.”
I believe in Christ; so come what may!
With him I’ll stand in that great day, When on this earth he comes again To rule amoung the sons of men.

Forgiving Hearts

Never Give Up
Go over, go under, go around, or go through.
But never give up.

Shoot for the Moon
Even if you miss
You'll land among the stars.

I have wept in the night
For the shortness of sight
'that to somebody's need made me blind,
But I never have yet
Felt a tinge of regret
For being a little too kind.

We are surrounded by those in need of our
Attention our,  encouragement, our support
Our comfort, our kindness be they family members
Friends, acquaintances, or strangers.
We are the Lord's hands here upon the earth with
The mandate to serve and to lift His children.
He is dependent upon each of us.

Nurture those you love that they will
Grow and thrive in the Gospel.
Be Patient
Sustain
Love

Blessed are the peacemakers for they
Shall be called the Children of God
Matthew 5:9

 Harmony makes a Home Heavenly

har-mo-ny  1. Agreement in feeling or opinion.
2. A pleasing combination
of elements forming the whole.
3. All members are in tune with one another.

In the end , the number of prayers we say may contribute to our happiness,
But the number of prayers we answer may be of even greater importance.

Let us feel the silent prayers of others around us,
And let us be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to answer those prayers.
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

He Enlightens Them

You need never be discouraged or afraid. The way through difficulties has always been prepared for you, and you will find it if you exercise faith."
Henry B. Eyring

"You could ask yourself, 'How did God Bless me today?' If you do that long enough and with faith, you will find yourself remembering blessings. And sometimes you will have gifts brought to your mind which you failed to notice during the day, but which you will then know were a touch of God's hand in your life."
Henry B. Eyring

""The children of God have more in common then they have differences.""
Henry B. Eyring

"You may have confidence in the Lord's service. The Savior will help you do what He has called you to do, be it for a time as a worker in the Church or forever as a parent. You may pray for help enough to do the work and know that it will come."
Henry B. Eyring (Because He First Loved Us)

"You make choices every day and almost every hour that keep you walking in the light or moving away toward darkness.
Some of the most important choices are about what you set your heart upon."
Henry B. Eyring, "

"Love is the motivating principle by which the Lord leads us along the way towards becoming like Him, our perfect example. Our way of life, hour by hour, must be filled with the love of God and love for others."
Henry B. Eyring,

"My purpose today is to assure you that our Heavenly Father and the Savior live and that They love all humanity. The very opportunity for us to face adversity and affliction is part of the evidence of Their infinite love. God gave us the gift of living in mortality so that we could be prepared to receive the greatest of all the gifts of God, which is eternal life. Then our spirits will be changed. We will become able to want what God wants, to think as He thinks, and thus be prepared for the trust of an endless posterity to teach and to lead through tests to be raised up to qualify to live forever in eternal life.
Henry B. Eyring

"I bear you my testimony that God the Father lives. He set a course for each of us that can polish and perfect us to be with Him. I testify that the Savior lives. His Atonement makes possible our being purified as we keep His commandments and our sacred covenants. And I know from my own experience that He can and will give us strength to rise through every trial. . . . This is the Lord's true Church in which we are, with Him, lifting each other and being blessed to succor the fellow sufferers He places in our way."
Henry B. Eyring,

"We cannot control what others choose to do, and so we cannot force our children to heaven,
but we can determine what we will do.
And we can decide that we will do all we can to bring down
the powers of heaven into that family we want so much to have forever."
Henry B. Eyring

"If you ponder the scriptures and begin to do what you covenanted with God to do, I
can promise you that you will feel more love for God and more of His love for you."
 Henry B. Eyring

"We can and must go often and carefully to the word of God. If we become casual in our study of the scriptures, we will become casual in our prayers."
-- Henry B. Eyring

"God not only loves the obedient - He enlightens them."
Henry B. Eyring

"The Savior will let you feel the love He feels for those you serve. The call is an invitation to become like Him."
 Henry B. Eyring

"Your life is carefully watched over, as was mine. The Lord knows both what He will need you to do and what you will need to know. He is kind and He is all-knowing. So you can with confidence expect that He has prepared opportunities for you to learn in preparation for the service you will give. You will not recognize those opportunities perfectly, as I did not. But when you put the spiritual things first in your life, you will be blessed to feel directed toward certain learning, and you will be motivated to work harder. You will recognize later that your power to serve was increased, and you will be grateful.
"
Henry B. Eyring
