angels attend you

she turned her cant’s into cans, and her dreams into plans

You decide every moment of every day who you are and what you believe in.
You get a second chance, every second.

Beautiful images friends paint
In hearts formerly dark or faint
Brightening many endless a heart
Like a rainbow friends I impart

When trials seem beyond our ability to bear, some people lose their spiritual bearings, while others are made even stronger. How can we strengthen our faith and deepen our testimony to the point that we can endure whatever life holds in store for us and emerge stronger than before?
God loves His children and He "delights" to bless us, especially when we are striving to do His will. "Sometimes blessings come in such an unusual manner and with such precise timing that they accomplish something in addition to blessing us. They so clearly confirm the reality of God's existence
that they buoy us up in times of trials."

We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have,

but rather of recognizing & appreciation what we do have.

The happiest people I know are not those who find their golden ticket, they are those who, while in the pursuit of worthy goals discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments.

Dieter F Uchtdorf

Let us not walk the path of discipleship with our eyes on the ground,

thinking only of the tasks and obligations before us.

Let us not walk unaware of the beauty of the glorious earthly and

spiritual landscapes that surround us.

Dieter F Uchtdorf

“God doesn't care nearly as much about where we have been as He does about where we are

and with His help, where we are willing to go.”

Jeffrey R. Holland,

“True love blooms when we care more about another person than we care about ourselves.

That is Christ's great atoning example for us, and it ought to be more evident in the kindness we show,

the respect we give, and the selflessness and courtesy we employ in our personal relationships.”

Jeffrey R. Holland

Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

Job 8:20-21

"Hope . . . is like the beam of sunlight rising up and above the horizon of our present circumstances. It pierces the darkness with a brilliant dawn. It encourages and inspires us to place our trust in the loving care of an eternal Heavenly Father, who has prepared a way for those who seek for eternal truth in a world of relativism, confusion, and of fear."

Dieter F Uchtdorf

"Hope is not knowledge, but rather the abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promise to us. It is confidence that if we live according to God's laws and the words of His prophets now, we will receive desired blessings in the future. It is believing and expecting that our prayers will be answered. It is manifest in confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, and patient perseverance.
In the language of the gospel, this hope is sure, unwavering, and active. The prophets of old speak of a 'firm hope' and a 'lively hope' It is a hope glorifying God through good works. With hope comes joy and happiness. With hope, we can 'have patience, and bear . . . our afflictions'

Dieter F Uchtdorf

It's like the difference between wallowing in the mud . . .

or learning how to jump in the puddles and dance in the rain.

“Sandwiched between their “once upon a time” and “happily ever after,” they all had to experience great adversity.

The scriptures tell us there must be opposition in all things, for without it we could not discern the sweet from the bitter
“There are those among you whohave already suffered a full measure of grief and sorrow. My heart is filled with compassion and love for you. How dear you are to the Church. How beloved you are of your Heavenly Father. Though it may seem that you are alone, angels attend you. Though you may feel that no one can understand the depth of your despair, our Savior, Jesus Christ, understands. He suffered more than we can possibly imagine,

and He did it for us; He did it for you.

You are not alone.”
