When you walk through a storm

"As I think about your schedules and the pressures you face at this time in your lives,
I can understand why scripture study can so easily be neglected.
You have many demands pulling at you. …..
But I plead with you to make time for immersing yourselves in the scriptures.
Couple scripture study with your prayers. ….can make an amazing difference in your lives.
It will give increased success in your daily activities. It will bring increased alertness to your minds.
It will give you comfort and rock-steady assurance when the storms of life descend upon you."
M. Russell Ballard

"Whenever we are inclined to feel burdened down with the blows of life, let us remember that others have passed the same way, have endured, and then have overcome. When we have done all that we are able, we can rely on God's promised help."You have access to the lighthouse of the Lord. There is no fog so dense, no night so dark, no mariner so lost, no gale so strong as to render useless the lighthouse of the Lord. It beckons through the storms of life.
It seems to call, 'This way to safety; this way to home.' "
Thomas S. Monson

You’ll Never Walk Alone

When you walk through a storm
hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.

"As you overcome adversity in your life, you will become stronger.
Then you will be better able to help others those who are working,
in their turn, to find a safe harbor from the storms that rage about them."
Joseph B. Wirthlin
"If our lives and our faith are centered on Jesus Christ and his restored gospel, nothing can ever go permanently wrong. On the other hand, if our lives are not centered on the Savior and his teachings, no other success can ever be permanently right." Living the gospel does not mean the storms of life will pass us by, but we will be better prepared to face them with serenity and peace."
President Howard W. Hunter
