Happiness is the joy of the soul, always

"Be one who nurtures and who builds. Be one who has an understanding and a forgiving heart, who looks for the best in people. Leave people better than you found them. If we could look into each other's hearts and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently..."

Marvin J. Ashton

"Today, many will break through the barriers of the past by looking at the blessings of the present. Why not you?"

"Far from what I was once was but not yet what I am going to be."

"God's plans for your life far exceed the circumstances of your day."
"Don't allow your wounds to turn you into a person you are not."
Apologizing does not always mean that you're wrong and the other person is right.
It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.

"You will know that forgiveness has begun when you recall
those who hurt you and feel the power to wish them well."
"We cannot repent for someone else. But we can forgive someone else, refusing to hold hostage those whom the Lord seeks to set free!"

Neal A. Maxwell

"And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness."
2 Nephi 5:27:
"So many of us are always waiting to be happy… Don't wait for the right job, the right house, the right salary, the right dress size. Be happy today. Be happy now."
Joseph B. Wirthlin

"We are always complaining that our days are few;
and acting as though there would be no end to them."

"I'm just an ordinary woman with the same joys and frustrations of every other woman. Sometimes the frustrations are great; and sometimes the joys simple, like having an even number of socks come out of the dryer. We all work at feeling joy and finding peace."

Elaine L. Jack
"Happiness is one of the aims of the gospel; not pain, not grief, not gloom, not pleasure. There is a difference between pleasure and happiness. Happiness is the joy of the soul, always."

David O. McKay

"It is difficult to make a man miserable while he feels he is worthy of himself and claims kindred to the great God who made him"
Abraham Lincoln

"Let thy heart be of good cheer before my face; and thou shalt bear record of my name…."

D&C 112:4

I hope you feel the Lords love for you engraved upon your hearts today,
and help others to feel it too!
