Touch the face of God

"Real charity is not something you give away; it is something that you acquire and make a part of yourself.

And when the virtue of charity becomes implanted in your heart, you are never the same again."

"Charity is not developed entirely by our own power, even through our faithfulness is a necessary qualification to receive it. Rather, charity is bestowed upon the true followers of Christ."

Charity

The Pure Love of Christ,
Has no boundaries, walls or limitations.
It extends to all and goes on forever.

I need to stop perceiving myself
As being one who is limited,
Who can only go so far before I "break."

The circle of love goes on forever
And cannot be broken.

One can only fall out of that circle
By placing upon themselves limitations

Such as:
"I can't, "It's more than I can take,"
"I give up," "I'm too old,"
"I'm too young," "I'm too weak,"
"I'm too skinny," "I'm too fat,"
"I'm not patient,"…

The list goes on and on
But regardless of the excuse,

No matter how true or good it is,
Is like a weathered rubber band,

That when stretched,
Exposes all the dusty holes

And breaks apart,
So, Starting today, here and now,

I have no limitations.
I am a child of God,
whose pure, unbreakable love

Extends to me
And gives me the strength
To reach out beyond

All boundaries, walls, and limitations,
And through all those I love and touch…

I touch the face of God!
