May we become one fold

He is the Redeemer, "the light and the life of the world," and "the beginning and the end." May we become one fold in preparation for the Good Shepherd to come again in glory and reign upon the earth.

Monte S. Nyman

"…The Resurrection and Atonement wrought by the Savior and the promise of eternal life with our loved ones are of such overwhelming significance that to not rejoice would demonstrate a lack of understanding of the Savior's gift."

Quentin L. Cook

"This is the spirit each true Christian seeks. This is the spirit I pray each may find. This is the Christ spirit. No quest is so universal, no undertaking so richly rewarding, no effort so ennobling, no purpose so divine. The Christmas season seems to prompt anew that yearning, that seeking to emulate the Savior of the world."

Thomas S. Monson

"…You are the bright hope of the Lord's Church. My purpose… is to help you believe that is so. If that belief can become a deep testimony from God, it will shape your daily and hourly choices. And then from what might appear to you to be small choices, the Lord will lead you to the happiness you want.
Through your choices He will be able to bless countless others."
Henry B. Eyring
"While waiting for promised blessings, one should not mark time, for to fail to move forward is to some degree a retrogression. Be anxiously engaged in good causes, including your own development."
Howard W. Hunter
"Let us arm ourselves with faith and stand firm in our convictions. Let us never forget that we are building a foundation for and with our family upon the rock of our Redeemer. Let us put our hand into God's hand. With the Lord's help we can build homes that are a righteous fortress."
Virginia U. Jensen
"…In the celestial glory, we are told that 'God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain.' Then faith and hope will replace heartache,
disappointment, torment, anguish, and despair, and the Lord will give us strength,
as Mormon says, that we 'should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were
swallowed up in the joy of Christ.'"
James E. Faust
We once knew well our Elder Brother and His and our Father in Heaven. We rejoiced at the prospects of earth life that could make it possible for us to have a fulness of joy. We could hardly wait to demonstrate to our Father and our Brother, the Lord, how much we loved them and how we would be obedient to them in spite of the earthly opposition of the evil one. Now we are here. Our memories are veiled. We are showing God and ourselves what we can do. Nothing is going to startle us more when we pass through the veil to the other side than to realize how well we know our Father and how familiar His face is to us. God loves us. He is watching us. He wants us to succeed. We will know some day that He has not left one thing undone for the eternal welfare of each of us. If we only knew it, heavenly hosts are pulling for us friends in heaven that we cannot now remember who yearn for our victory. This is our day to show what we can do what life and sacrifice we can daily, hourly, instantly make for God. If we give our all, we will get His all from the greatest of all.
Give God your best, and His best will come back to you.
May God be with you this season and always.
Ezra Taft Benson
