I have felt heaven's embrace

What are you happy about today?  Really.  I don’t mean this as a rhetorical question.  I truly want to know.
What has made your journey enjoyable today?
No matter how stormy the day has been, there have surely been glimpses of the sun.  Take a minute to consider the question as you open your heart to feel gratitude and happiness.   We tend to so easily see and find the negative – finding joy, beauty and blessings often takes effort.  In order for it to become a habit it surely takes practice.  So…practice.  (Today.)
Hilary Weeks
Be cheerful in all that you do. Live joyfully. Live happily. Live enthusiastically, knowing that God does not dwell in gloom and melancholy, but in light and love.

Ezra Taft Benson

“The formula of faith is to hold on, work on, see it through, and let the distress of earlier hours—real or imagined—fall away in the abundance of the final reward. Don’t dwell on old issues or grievances—not toward yourself nor your neighbor nor even, I might add, toward this true and living Church. The majesty of your life, of your neighbor’s life, and of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be made manifest at the last day, even if such majesty is not always recognized by everyone in the early going.”
Jeffrey R. Holland
“Your faith in Jesus Christ gives life enduring meaning. Remember you are on a journey to exaltation. Sometimes you have experiences that yield more happiness than others, but it all has purpose with the Lord.”
Richard G. Scott
As a pilot I have touched the skies. As a church member I have felt heaven’s embrace.

Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“The gospel of Jesus Christ encompasses much more than avoiding, overcoming,
and being cleansed from sin and the bad influences in our lives; it also
essentially entails doing good, being good, and becoming better.”
David A.Bednar
“It is well that we remember that the trials, difficulties, and experiences
of life all have purpose. There came to me on the occasion of a year in my
life to be remembered when the lovely sisters of our Relief Society wrote
this as a prayer in my behalf. It was entitled ‘May You Have’:
Enough happiness to keep you sweet,
Enough trials to keep you strong,
Enough sorrow to keep you human,
Enough hope to keep you happy,
Enough failure to keep you humble,
Enough success to keep you eager,
Enough wealth to meet your needs,
Enough enthusiasm to look forward,
Enough friends to give you comfort,
Enough faith to banish depression,
Enough determination to make each day better than yesterday.”
Harold B. Lee
