Allow God to pour into your Heart

“One key relationship we have is with ourselves. It may seem odd to think of having a relationship with ourselves, but we do. Some people can’t get along with themselves. They criticize and belittle themselves all day long until they begin to hate themselves. May I suggest that you reduce the rush and take a little extra time to get to know yourself better. Walk in nature, watch a sunrise, enjoy God’s creations, ponder the truths of the restored gospel, and find out what they mean for you personally. Learn to see yourself as Heavenly Father sees you as His precious daughter or son with divine potential.”
Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“Gratitude is deeper than thanks…Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts”
“We never need to feel that we are alone or unloved in the Lord’s service because we never are. We can feel the love of God. The Savior has promised angels on our left and our right to bear us up. And He always keeps His word.”
Henry B. Eyring
In the still of the night, when sleep won’t come and the clock keeps taunting you, let God speak. Consider this time a sacred opportunity to commune with The Savior. Pour out your heart to Him, and then, allow God to pour into your Heart. Listen, Receive, Partake. It is in these precious “midnight moments” you will find sweet refreshment for your soul,
a refreshment unlike sleep could ever hope to give.

“Christ’s supreme sacrifice can find full fruition in our lives only as we accept the invitation to follow him. This call is not irrelevant, unrealistic, or impossible. To follow an individual means to watch him or listen to him closely; to accept his authority, to take him as a leader, and to obey him; to support and advocate his ideas; and to take him as a model.
Each of us can accept this challenge.”
Howard W. Hunter

“In a world of instant communication, we are prone to become impatient and want instant answers to our prayers. God always answers prayers, but He does it in His own way and in His own time. Perhaps it is wise to remember this counsel: ‘Be still and know that I am God’.”
L. Lionel Kendrick

God is always faithful to answer. Sometimes His answer is a much desired “yes” . Sometimes His answer is a merciful “no”. Sometimes His answer is a faith-building “not yet”. And sometimes…sometimes, when an answer cannot be found,
His answer is simply “Trust Me”.
