Be patient

 

 

“Have you ever thought of yourself as a junior angel crowned with glory and honor? Every one of our Father in Heaven’s children is great in His sight. If the Lord sees greatness in you, how then should you see yourself?”

 

Stop beating yourself up.  You are a work in progress which means you get there a little at a time, not all at once.

 

Make sure your worst enemy is not living between your own ears.

 

Your mind is a garden; your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow FLOWERS, or you can grow WEEDS.

 

Please don't nag yourself with thoughts of failure. Don't set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. Simply do what you can do in the best way you know how and the Lord will accept your effort.

 

Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender: it's holy ground. There's no greater investment.

Be kind and forgiving, never giving up on anyone including yourself. Remember that your relationship with yourself affects your relationship with everyone else. In fact, “Nothing is a greater impediment to being on good terms with others than being at ill ease with yourself.”

 

Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept what your mind already knows.
