A twinkle in the eye of eternity

We can never Harvest what we do not plant.
"The heritage of the past is the seed that brings forth the harvest of the future."

Rex D. Pinegar

Loves Pure Light. A light that cannot be extinguished, His light is the light of every man.

Lead, Kindly Light

The light of Christ is that divine power or influence that emanates from God through Jesus Christ.

It gives light and life to all things.

Richard G. Scott

Live to see the miracles of repentance and forgiveness,
of trust and divine love that will transform your life today, tomorrow, and forever.

"Every gift that is offered to us... is an opportunity to build or strengthen a bond of love."

Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Your Heavenly Father knows that you will make mistakes. He knows that you will stumble perhaps many times. This saddens Him, but He loves you. He does not wish to break your spirit. On the contrary, He desires that you rise up and become the person you were designed to be."

"True spirituality makes you loving and grateful, and forgiving, and patient, and gentle, and long-suffering. True spirituality breathes reverence into every act and deed."

Marjorie Pay Hinckley

"Encounters with the Spirit are not merely emotional, they are enlightening. They can be felt, and they increase the intellect, enliven your understanding, and bring more light to you.

They do not merely leave you with your emotions touched."

Denver C. Snuffer

"When Enos raised his voice high to heaven, it had nothing to do with volume. It had to do with the quality of the communication, the content of his soul as he sought further light and knowledge. There should be moments in every life when you put aside all distractions, worries and troubles of this world and you ponder deeply about God. It is only in such quiet, still moments when our minds can reach into heaven itself. We can feel things long before we are able to see them."

Denver K. Snuffer

"When your own thoughts are small and pure, they also can penetrate to the place where God resides. You must use the same medium to speak to Him as He uses to speak to you. Study to be calm. For only then will you be like Enos and proclaim: "I did raise my voice high that it reached the heavens.""

Denver K. Snuffer

If God chooses to teach us the things we most need to learn because he loves us, and if he seeks to tame our souls and gentle us in the way we most need to be tamed and most need to be gentled, it follows that he will customize the challenges he gives us and individualize them so that we will be prepared for life in a better world by his refusal to take us out of this world, even though we are not of it. In the eternal ecology of things we must pray, therefore, not that things be taken from us, but that God's will be accomplished through us. What, therefore, may seem now to be mere unconnected pieces of tile will someday, when we look back, take form and pattern, and we will realize that God was making a mosaic. For there is in each of our lives this kind of divine design, this pattern, this purpose that is in the process of becoming, which is continually before the Lord but which for us, looking forward, is sometimes perplexing.

Neal A. Maxwell

"One of the great comforts of the gospel of Jesus Christ is our knowledge that this earthly existence is merely a twinkle in the eye of eternity. Whether we are at the beginning of our mortal journey or at the end, this life is merely one step one small step."
Joseph B. Wirthlin

"Angels are still sent to help us"

Jeffrey R. Holland

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Luke 15:18-20
A Jewish story equivalent of the prodigal son, which ends as follows Two sons, one goes away, he goes so far even when his closest friends tell him you must go back, He says I can't, too far gone, too far away, too many bridges burned, and the friend finally says to him go back as far as you can and He will come the rest of the way.
He descended below all things in order that He might rise above all things. He has the power to lift.
"… If there are here some of you who have been tricked into the conviction that you have gone too far, that you have been weighed down on doubts upon which you alone have a monopoly; that you have had the poison of sin that makes it impossible ever again to be what you could have been, then hear me! I bear testimony that you cannot sink farther than the light and sweeping intelligence of Jesus Christ can reach. I bear testimony that as long as there is one spark of the will to repent and reach, He is there! He did not just descend to your condition, he descended below it; that he might be in and through all things the light of truth. ."

Truman G. Madsen

"Come to him. He turns no penitent one away. Would you, if you had paid so much in suffering? Would you ever give up? All the doors that are locked against the Lord are locked by us."

It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ's Atonement shines.

Jeffrey R. Holland
