“Thus, when we plead for the gift of charity, we aren't asking for lovely feelings toward someone . . . who has injured or wounded us. We are actually pleading for our very natures to be changed, for our character and disposition to become more and more like the Savior's,
so that we literally feel as He would feel and thus do what He would do.”
Sheri L. Dew
True love is a reflection of the Savior's love. The Spirit of Christ. You can hear it. You can see it. You can feel it.
If what’s ahead scares you, and what’s behind hurts you, just look above, He never fails to help you.
God is bigger than whatever you’re worried about.
O Savior, guide me; I feel my strength is small, be Thou beside me; With vision ever clear, with love that conquers fear, And grace to persevere, O Lord, provide me. Whenever Thy way seems strange, go Thou before me; And, lest my heart should change, O Lord, watch o’er me; But, should my faith prove frail, and I through blindness fail,
O let Thy grace prevail, and still restore me.
Robert R. Roberts
The Savior loves each of us as if there were only one of us.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
When we have the love of Christ within us...Kindness comes easy, it's not second nature..it's first...Be kind to those that have hurt us, be kind to those that don't feel they deserve it..be kind..because we are filled with the love of Our Savior..everyone deserves the kindness of Christ, He has chosen us to work through Him
His Grace is immeasurable, His Mercy is inexhaustible, His Peace is inexpressible.
“God is not the author of confusion but is the author of peace.” There is a peace that can only be granted through the love of God, a lasting and abiding peace deep in your soul.
Kneel, ponder, pray, and feel the healing balm of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
